Melissa McCarthy is making comedies like a boss.

McCarthy, 45, premiered the first trailer of her upcoming film The Boss during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, and it looks as though the actress has another hit on her hands.

The star plays Michelle Darnell, a titan of industry sent to jail for insider trading. After she s done her time and is ready to rebrand, Darnell finds out not all the people in her life are so ready to forgive her past misdeeds.

Kristen Bell, Kathy Bates and Peter Dinklage help bring the laughs in the movie written by McCarthy, Steve Mallory and Ben Falcone.

“She was always one of my favorites to do,” McCarthy told EW earlier this year. “I love her. I’m fascinated with those people who push so hard – I always love flawed characters. I think they are the most fun to be had.”

The Boss hits theaters on April 8, 2016.
