Uma Thurman and her daughter Luna enjoyed a girls night out amid her ongoing custody dispute with ex Arpad Busson.
Thurman and Luna, 4, attended Cirque du Soleil’s musical theater show Paramour in New York City on Wednesday.
After watching the show, the mother-daughter duo went on stage to meet with some of the performers. Thuman and Luna were all smiles as the performers showed off their impressive moves.
The outing comes as Thurman, 46, and Busson continue to hash out custody details in court.
After a bitter seven-day custody battle in court, the former couple appeared in court on Monday where Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper said “98 percent of everything has been resolved,” according to Page Six.
“My understanding, having spoken to the attorneys, is that we have made a huge amount of progress,” the judge said. “The goal is to come up with a plan that deals with custody and finances. If there’s a resolution, I’ll be happy to allocute it, but if not we’ll deal with that when we come to it.”
The former couple dated on and off from 2007 through 2014. They were engaged twice but never married. Busson sued Thurman in 2014 asking to spend more time with their daughter, Luna. He asked for 10 days a month plus extended vacations, Page Six reports.
Thurman reportedly wants Busson to have less time and restrict him from traveling with their child to his homes in London and the Bahamas. She also wants a regular schedule for when Busson will visit Luna.
