Capture a Little Cullen: Hundreds of Props and Costumes from Twilight Are Up for Auction
Missing the magic of Forks, Washington? Don’t fret — you can now own a little bit of the Twilight franchise.
Fans of the five films — the final of which hit theaters in 2012 — can buy props, costumes and set decoration pieces during an upcoming two-day, live auction of over 900 pieces used by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
The auction, hosted by the Prop Store, will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood from Nov. 19-20, where fans and collectors can bid in person. Bids can also be placed over the phone or online.
Standout items include Bella Swan’s (Stewart) first-day-of-school costume from Twilight, which starts at $1,000-$1,500, and Jacob Black’s (Lautner) motorcycle, which is up for $5,000-$7,000.
An invite to Bella and Edward’s (Pattinson) wedding is also available, as well as the latter’s first onscreen costume from the series and the heroine’s engagement ring.
Other notable props featured are Edward and Bella’s home bedroom furniture, personal journals and even cast chair backs.
“The Twilight Saga has always been about the passionate fanbase,” Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate SVP, Location Based Entertainment, said of the event. “We know these one-of-a-kind pieces will be valued and cherished as fans and collectors become the trusted caretakers of these cinematic treasures.”
