Mission: Impossible is returning to the big screen with all of its usual tricks, judging by the just-released trailer for the series’ fifth installment.

You’ve got a shirtless Tom Cruise being tortured, a shirtless Tom Cruise brawling next to a mysterious woman, Tom Cruise driving a car very fast and Tom Cruise hanging off the side of a plane as it takes off.

The new footage reveals Mission: Impossible 5‘s subtitle as “Rogue Nation,” an apparent reference to a shadowy cabal of “anti-IMF” agents known as the Syndicate who Cruise, as Ethan Hunt, seeks to destroy.

Although M:I 5 has a new director, frequent Cruise collaborator Christopher McQuarrie, all seems relatively in order: the stunts, the suspense, the music.

Also returning are Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg, who first appeared in 2011’s Ghost Protocol, the film that rejuvenated the franchise; plus returning player Ving Rhames, who’s been in every movie since the beginning.

Mission: Impossible 5 – Rogue Nation hits theaters on July 31.
