The actress spent the day with Swift at Queensland's Warner Bros. Movie World theme park
The latest (enviable) addition to the pop star’s gaggle of glamorous friends is actress Blake Lively, who joined Swift for a day Down Under.
Lively, who’s been in Australia to shoot scenes for upcoming shark thriller The Shallows, and Swift visited Warner Bros. Movie World theme park in Queensland over the weekend.
The women posed together on one of the park’s streets, jumping for joy before Swift returned to another performance on her 1989 world tour.
“Yesterday was such an amazing day off– roller coasters, kangaroos and LOLs with @blakelively,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “See you tonight, Adelaide!”
The pair also made some rather hairy new friends during the visit – kangaroos. The marsupials indulged the stars’ request for selfies, first with Swift, 25, alone, and then with the Age of Adeline actress.
How Taylor Swift’s 1989 Light-Up Bracelet Saved Lives
“I didn’t know ‘kangaroo selfies’ were a thing,” wrote Swift of her up-close-and-personal photo with one of the creatures. “But they are and this is one.”
The “Bad Blood” singer then photobombed Lively’s image, earning the title of “crazy fan.” “Where’s security when you need it,” Lively joked.
Swift also shared a photo of herself petting and feeding one of the kangaroos.
“Me: Please love me,” she wrote. “Kangaroo: No.”
Lively, 28, previously declared her love for the singer on Instagram in September, dispelling rumors of a feud between the two and admitting to owning “a ‘Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll #obsessed.’ ”
She added, “I love Taylor Lively. I mean Swift. Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva.”
