Welcome to Instagram, Taylor Lautner!

Lautner made his social media debut on Tuesday, and he enlisted the help of two of his celebrity pals, Adam Sandler and David Spade, to help him perfect his first post.

“Hello Instagram! It only took me until the year 2016 to finally join, sorry I’m so late to the party haha,” the actor captioned his first Instagram video post. “Huge thank you to my buds @andamsandler and @davidspade for helping me introduce my page.”

In the video, Lautner is seen trying to decide what kind of post he should do for his first Instagram with Sandler. Naturally, the comedian, 49, shoots down most (all) of his ideas.

“For my first post, I’m going to use this new 60-second video feature. I was thinking maybe I could do a backflip, but in slow-mo,” he suggests.

“I’ve seen you do that before, maybe something else,” responds Sandler.

After suggesting catching grapes in his mouth only to have it turned down, he finally asks if Sandler will make a guest appearance in a post of the two doing the popular dance move “dabbing.”

“I would but you know, the dog doesn’t want me to and that kind of thing,” says Sandler.

This prompts Lautner to turn to Spade for ideas – who was a bit easier to convince. When Spade, 51, says “dabbing” isn’t his “thing,” Lautner knows just how to persuade him.

“I’ll give you Taylor Swift‘s cellphone number,” he says. Of course, Spade immediately agrees.
