“You talkin’ to us?”

The original cast of Taxi Driver reunited for a special screening on Thursday in celebration of the iconic film’s 40th anniversary as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Harvey Keitel and Cybill Shepherd joined legendary director Martin Scorsese to commemorate the acclaimed film.

After the screening, the cast posed for pictures and held a Q&A, along with screenwriter Paul Schrader.

While talking to the audience, De Niro, 72, addressed his infamous one-liner from the film, saying it’s easily the most quoted movie line of his career.

“Every day for 40 f—ing years, at least one of you has come up to me and said – what do you think – ‘You talkin’ to me?'”

De Niro also recalled the time he spent working as an actual taxi driver to help prepare himself for the role.

“I drove as much as I could in that period,” he said.

Scorsese then reminded the veteran actor, “You told me that a guy got in your car and noticed your name on the driver s license and he said, ‘God, you just won an Oscar. Is it that hard to get work?'”

“And I said, ‘Yeah,'” laughed De Niro.

The film, about a disgruntled cab driver who becomes obsessed with the idea saving the world, went on to become one of the highest-rated films of all time.
