The upcoming DC Comics movie Suicide Squad centers on band of rebels who flout typical good-guy conventions … and also apparently proper spelling.

On Tuesday, the film’s director, David Ayer, Tweeted this photo of Margot Robbie in full Harley Quinn costume and apparently giving him a forearm tattoo that reads “SKWAD.” It remains to be seen if the tattoo is real, but the tattoo gun certainly seemed authentic enough.

Joel Kinnaman, who in the film will be playing good guy Rick Flag, also seems to have gotten inked, though according to his Instagram post, it was Will Smith, not Robbie, who gave him his tattoo.

“Will has many talents,” Kinnaman wrote. “Tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter.”

Smith wasn’t the only one who got behind the tattoo gun. Cara Delevingne also posted a picture of herself looking laser focused as she tattooed someone’s foot.

But don’t think Delevingne missed out on the opportunity to get tatted herself. Robbie took the lead on marking her own foot.

Jai Courtney, who plays Captain Boomerang in the film, also seemed to have gotten in on the action, as he posted a photo of a “SKWAD” tattoo, in addition to several others.

After his initial Tweet, Ayer followed up with a second that seemingly advertised Robbie’s character’s body-ink services – and bad spelling.

That lettering looks pretty standardized throughout for tattoos that were supposedly given by two different non-professionally-trained artists. Surely the Suicide Squad cast is just putting us on, right?
