No matter the success of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds will never live down Green Lantern.

Appearing on Tuesday’s Late Show, the actor laid down under the stars with Stephen Colbert to contemplate some of life’s greatest questions, including what superpower they’d want.

“I’d like to have this super cool alien hi-tech ring,” said the host, a.k.a. Colberhug as Reynolds nicknamed him. “And it’s green and it has a lantern on it, and I can use my imagination to make anything out of green light.”

In response, the star of Life, which is in theaters Friday, deadpanned, “Wow… that’s a really dumb super power.”

Reynolds hasn’t been shy about making light of the 2011 superhero film’s failure, even making reference to it in Deadpool.

The Late Show airs on CBS at 11:35 p.m. ET.
