The third and final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer was released on Monday and it did not disappoint. Let the speculation of this year’s most-anticipated movie continue

Daisy Ridley – playing Rey, the scavenger on desert planet Jakku – was the first wow moment, kicking off the trailer as she glided through a murky wreckage of an old starship – Could it be the Imperial Star Destroyer that was seen in the first trailer?

John Boyega‘s Finn was next up, and we see him in Stormtrooper crisis-mode as he says: “I was raised to do one thing. But I ve got nothing to fight for.” Will Rey and Finn be the two new characters that dominate the narrative? It certainly seems that way…

The trailer’s most chilling moment came when Adam Driver‘s evil Kylo Ren vowed to the (genuinely still terrifying) mask of Darth Vader that “nothing will stand in our way” before adding menacingly: “I will finish what you started.” Shaking in our Stormtrooper boots.

Harrison Ford‘s Han Solo – arguably a skeptic in the first three movies – delivers the best line of the clip: “It’s true, all of it” confirming everything Rey and Finn have heard about the dark side of the Jedi.

It’s Princess Leia! Carrie Fisher has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-her moment in the trailer as she embraces with Han, which leaves us with the all-important question of where the heck Luke Skywalker is, and how long he’s been away for.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

will be with theaters Dec.18.
