Even celebrities geek out over their costars.

John Boyega, one of the newest faces in Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, revealed in the Star Wars Celebration panel in Anaheim, California, on Thursday that he had Harrison Ford sign his Han Solo action figure.

Boyega said when he asked Ford to sign it, Ford replied “This is weird.”

The Han Solo fan is one of three new actors coming to the film, premiering in December.

Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac also joined Boyega on stage to share more information about their characters.

Ridley said the audience will first discover her character “Rey” on a dessert planet.

“She is a scavenger in a ship graveyard and very self-efficient, very solitary,” she explained at the panel, “until she meets another character, and the adventure begins.”

This is the 23-year-old actress’s first major film.

Boyega, a 23-year-old from London, joins the cast as Stormtrooper “Finn”.

“When we find Finn, he’s in incredible danger and he reacts to the changes in his life,” Boyega said. “And it launches him into the Star Wars universe.”

Isaac described his character as “the best frickin’ pilot in the galaxy.”

“He’s been sent on a mission by a certain princess,” he added. “After meeting Finn, their fates are intertwined.”

Issac can also be seen alongside Alicia Vikander in Ex Machina, now in theaters.

Producer Kathleen Kennedy said there are great new characters and really strong women, not only in Episode 7, but also in the movies going forward.

The stream continues to be broadcast live on starwars.com.
