The big day has arrived, but the young cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still not revealing any secrets from the highly anticipated film.

Appearing together on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, played coy about the relationships between their characters in the seventh installment to the iconic franchise.

DeGeneres prodded the cast on Thursday to reveal if any of their characters are romantically entwined with each other.

“I think it’s a very subtle romance that’s happening,” said Isaac, who stars as X-wing pilot Poe. “You have to just look very closely – you have to watch it a few times to see the little hints but, there was. At least, I was playing romance.”

Laughing, he added, “In the cockpit, I was playing – there was a deep romance there.”

Isaac wouldn’t specify his lucky lover, however.

Boyega’s rogue stormtrooper Finn, has things other than romance on his mind, according to the actor. Namely, “sweating and panting and running.”

Ridley, however, kept the mystery surrounding her character Rey alive, telling DeGeneres vaguely, “we shall see.”

The cast also opened up about the shooting conditions – mainly, the temperature in the Abu Dhabi desert, where Ridley and Boyega filmed.

Finn’s stormtrooper costume, for one, was a little too heavy and thick for the stifling temperatures.

“It’s a lovely, lovely suit to wear in Abu Dhabi in the heat and while you are sweating,” Boyega told Degeneres. “It is literally so hot.”

The British star survived, however. He joked, “It was really, really hard to get the takes done, but I made it through, you guys.”
