Meet Chewbacca! Get Jedi Training! A Look Inside the Ultimate Adventure for Star Wars Fans
Star Wars fanatics get to experience what life would be like in the galactic universe
The galaxy far, far away just got even closer.
If binge-watching the films aren’t enough, fans can now step inside the Star Wars universe at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando — and PEOPLE is giving you an intimate look at everything it has to offer.
“Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the home of Star Wars,” J. Michael Roddy, Walt Disney World’s Creative Entertainment Show Director, tells PEOPLE. “If you want to play in the Star Wars world, this is where you need to come.”
From the March of the First Order led by Captain Phasma to Jedi training, Star Wars fanatics get to experience what life would be like in the galactic universe.
And of course, don’t forget about getting up close and personal with some of your favorite characters from the franchise — even if Kylo Ren doesn’t want to meet you.
“We have amazing shows that bring the characters to life,” Roddy says of the Path of the Jedi show, which takes viewers through the entire saga, complete with footage from the films and a few special appearances by some familiar faces (hello BB-8!)
The night ends with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular — a multimedia experience that brings the saga to life with a fireworks show and special effects.
“It’s the best way to celebrate Star Wars,” says Roddy.
