“It was me, James. The author of all your pain.”

So declares James Bond’s newest nemesis (Christoph Waltz) in the action-packed new trailer for Spectre, which dropped Wednesday and delivers more ominous glimpses of the sinister organization that Daniel Craig‘s 007 is up against.

The trailer opens with the suave British superspy being scolded by the new head of M16 (Ralph Fiennes) for an off-the-grid mission in Mexico City, before launching into array of quintessential Bond staples: fast cars, Bond girls and perilous escapes.

It also offers up some new faces, including Sherlock actor Andrew Scott and the film’s big villain himself, played by Waltz, as Bond infiltrates and exposes the existence of the dark organization known as Spectre.

James Bond’s 24th big-screen outing hits theaters Nov. 6.
