The first trailer has been released for one of James Gandolfini‘s last performances, and it’s a bittersweet reminder of just how talented the late actor was.

The Sopranos star, who died in Italy on June 19 of a heart attack, plays Albert, a divorced dad who begins dating Eva, a masseuse (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), in the upcoming romantic comedy Enough Said.

Things get awkward, and funny, when Eva realizes that her new client is Albert’s ex-wife.

Gandolfini is sweet, understated and totally adorable in the trailer, and Louis-Dreyfus told Access Hollywood that he gives “an incredible performance” in the film.

“I think Jim would say he was nervous because he was playing a role unlike any other role he played before and a role in which he gets the girl, and he was sort of uncomfortable with that,” she admitted. “He plays a really earnest, mild-mannered, dear person. Frankly, very close to what he is [and] he was I think he was a little bit insecure about it, but he did the most amazing job.”

Enough Said opens Sept. 20.
