Shirtless in South Beach!
Suicide Squad actor Scott Eastwood had a blast while doing good in South Beach this weekend.
After competing in the 2016 South Beach Triathlon Sunday to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the actor, Vampire Diaries star Claire Holt, 27, and a group of pals hit Nikki Beach for the Sunday Funday party.
“I surprised myself by doing pretty well in the swimming portion,” Eastwood told a friend at Nikki Beach of his participation in the event.
The handsome actor and son of Clint Eastwood, 30, requested a table in the middle of all the action, where he enjoyed screwdrivers, Nutella waffles and Eggs Benedict.
“Scott said he really wanted to have a ‘last hurrah’ in South Beach before leaving,” a source tells PEOPLE.
“He was entertaining his table of pals who were toasting each other and laughing as he joked around with the waitress, asking to try on her signature Nikki Beach hand-etched belt and pretending to take food orders on her note pad.”
Aside from the fun in the sun, Eastwood posted an inspiring Instagram photo and message about his participation in the triathlon.
“Great morning with great people. Get out there and do one thing you’ve never done before!!! It doesn’t have to be big or time consuming. Say one positive thing to a coworker or friend.”
He continued: “Get up and do something active. Pick up one piece of trash you see on the ground. It starts with one. We are only on this planet for a short time. It’s easy to get caught up in the material things in life. But that isn’t what life is about. It’s about how you touch people in a positive or negative way. It’s your choice.”
