The actress plays a police officer in her new comedy, which costars Melissa McCarthy
There’s a new sheriff in town and her name is … Sandra Bullock.
On Thursday, the actress suited up in long sleeves and slacks and reported to the Boston set of her new cop buddy comedy The Heat on an appropriately steamy summer day. (Temperatures climbed to the upper-80s, according to local reports.)
The movie costars Oscar-nominee Melissa McCarthy, and is being directed by Paul Feig, who helmed Bridesmaids. It’s about an FBI agent who teams up with a local Boston police officer to take down a Russian mobster.
According to local reports, Bullock was spotted in Dudley Square outside an old police station, where filming is taking place.
The film is reportedly due out in April 2013.
