She appeared in both the television and film categories, nominated for both Female Actor in a Supporting Role and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. 02 of 09 Emily Blunt, A Quiet Place/Emily Blunt, Mary Poppins Returns Paramount Pictures; Disney Blunt was nominated for two very different roles: she scored a supporting actress nom for her turn as real-life husband John Krasinski’s wife in his horror film A Quiet Place, and a lead actress nom for her role as Mary Poppins in the upcoming Disney sequel. 03 of 09 Amy Adams, Sharp Objects/Amy Adams, Vice Anne Marie Fox/HBO; Matt Kennedy / Annapurna Pictures Also appearing in both the television and film categories was Adams, whose roles as a haunted journalist in HBO’s Sharp Objects and Dick Cheney’s wife, Lynne, in Vice, both earned her nominations. 04 of 09 Jane Fonda, Grace and Frankie/Lily Tomlin, Grace and Frankie Melissa Moseley/Netflix (2) The two stars of Netflix comedy Grace and Frankie were both nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series category, making it the third year in a row that Fonda and Tomlin were both nominated in this category. 05 of 09 Amy Adams, Sharp Objects/Patricia Clarkson, Sharp Objects Anne Marie Fox/HBO (2) Adams and Clarkson were both nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Movie prize for their turn as a dysfunctional mother-daugther duo in the acclaimed HBO series. 06 of 09 Rachel Brosnahan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel/Alex Borstein, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Amazon Prime Video (2) The ladies of Mrs. Maisel were both nominated for the lead actress television prize, while the show itself received an ensemble acting nomination. 07 of 09 Julia Garner, Ozark/Laura Linney, Ozark Jessica Miglio/Netflix; Netflix Garner and Linney both scored lead actress nominations for the dark Netflix series.
