The 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on both TNT and TBS
Sam Rockwell is winning big!
On Sunday, the 49-year-old star took home the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role at the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards thanks to his performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
“Wow! This is awesome,” Rockwell said in his acceptance speech, thanking his co-nominees, costars, and his “incredible ensemble.”
“My mom and dad were actors, they dragged me to rehearsals when I was a baby and I slowly realized that these people are nuts,” he joked, before listing some of the jobs he had while he was auditioning. “If you’re a struggling actor out there, hang in there!”
