Sure, Ryan Reynolds reprises his Deadpool character to appear in Screen Junkies‘ Honest Trailer for the film’s DVD and Blu-Ray release Tuesday – but don’t expect him to be too excited about it.

The former Sexiest Man Alive proves his character’s sarcasm is as sharp as ever in this five-minute trailer, which jokingly aims to explain what potential viewers should really expect while watching the hit movie.

“Look, the only reason I’m even here is to promote Deadpool, which is now out on Blu-Ray and DVD, blah, blah, blah, like anyone still f—ing buys those glorified f—ing drink coasters,” Reynolds says while suited up. “So let’s be real, Honest Trailer guy, I’m way too big of a deal to be slumming it in some played out web series.”

Earlier, when the trailer’s voice-over narrator expresses shock that Reynolds is appearing in the trailer in character, the star deadpans, “No, It’s Rhythm Nation-era Janet Jackson. Yeah, I’m motherf—ing Deadpool.”

Later, narrator explains that the film invites fans to “follow along on Ryan Reynolds’ epic quest to look like Ryan Reynolds again, as this immortal Tucker Max battles villains that pose no real threat to him.”

The trailer also points out a giant plot flaw in the hour-and-48-minute movie, explaining that Reynolds plays a “wisecracking, indestructible psychopath who would do anything to get his fiancée back – except talk to her, which would have been way too easy, causing the movie to end in like 20 minutes.”

Watch the trailer above to see even more from this “wisecracking, indestructible psychopath,” as well as a cameo from PEOPLE’s 2008 Sexiest Man Alive cover featuring Hugh Jackman, whose X-Men Wolverine character is referenced repeatedly in the movie.

Deadpool is available on DVD and Blu-Ray now.
