Ryan Reynolds loves his low-key lifestyle.

The Woman in Gold actor, 39, opened up about how he manages to keep his private life with wife Blake Lively and 11-month-old daughter, James, out of the spotlight.

“I think it’s always a fine line,” he told The Project, adding that he does his best to leave business at the door. “I think it’s keeping a boundary that there’s this world that is the job and the world that is the home.”

And when it comes to his own personality, he said that he’s just not the going out all night, hard-partying kind of star.

“I’ve never been the guy stumbling out of bars at three in the morning, at least that anyone is aware of. It’s never been my thing,” Reynolds explained.

Reynolds and Lively, 28, have made a home together in bucolic Upstate New York, and the actor said that choosing to live outside of the paparazzi’s prime territory has made it easier for them to enjoy their downtime and stay out of the media glare.

“We don’t live in L.A. We live on a farm in New York. And we don’t lead a wild and crazy life,” he said.

“It’s not that hard,” he added. “It’s not a big deal.”
