Ryan Reynolds Takes a Step Out of His Comfort Zone in Trailer for Snapchat Series Ryan Doesn’t Know
The Snap Original series premieres Saturday, Jan. 30 on Snapchat Discover
Ryan Reynolds is making time for some self-improvement with a new Snapchat series.
In a PEOPLE exclusive trailer for the Snap Original series Ryan Doesn't Know, the Deadpool actor learns new skills and makes new friends in the process. The show premieres Saturday, Jan. 30 on Snapchat's Discover.
"You could fill a gymnasium with the things I don't know," Reynolds says in the trailer. "In the hopes of becoming a less boring husband and father, I'm meeting up with talented new artists to learn a little about a lot of new things."
The 44-year-old actor will spend time with a group of talented emerging artists and creators as he attempts to learn their crafts.
Whether it's learning how to ice sculpt with Shintaro Okamoto, learning the ins and outs of VFX with Trevor Bell or making latte art with artist Melannie Aquino, Reynolds will have his work cut out for him as he takes a step into different fields.
The 12-episode series, produced by Westbrook Media, premieres on Saturday with new episodes airing every other day.
This is the Free Guy star's latest venture after a busy 2020. In September, Reynolds surprised fans by bringing back comedian Rick Moranis for a Mint Mobile ad, of which Reynolds is the owner.
In a statement, Reynolds explained how the commercial came to be and how much he was starstruck by Moranis on set.
"Like many Canadians and humans, I adore and worship Rick Moranis. From Strange Brew to Ghostbusters to Spaceballs to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, his performances and lines are burned into my brain and heart. We asked Rick to do this 8 days before our shoot kind of on a lark but after a few emails and a conversation, he agreed. And it was wonderful. Everyone on set was completely star struck, most of all me. We're so grateful he came back and hope he stays back."
While the actor has separate business ventures, including his own liquor line Aviation Gin, Reynolds is still hard at work in making films, such as Red Notice, The Adam Project, Deadpool 3 and executive producing the Jennifer Lopez film Shotgun Wedding.
Ryan Doesn't Know premieres Saturday, January 30 on Snapchat's Discover with new episodes airing every other day. Subscribe to watch here.
