Read on or watch the video above. First, you’ll need VR goggles. Pick up a copy of PEOPLE’s special issue, Star Wars: The Secrets of Rogue One, on newsstands Nov. 30. Inside the issue, you’ll find PEOPLE’s virtual-reality viewer, with instructions included. The next step is downloading the LIFE VR app on your smartphone, available on iOS and Android (visit time.com/lifevr). Once that’s installed, follow the directions to remove the VR viewer from its insert. Next, remove the lenses and fold the viewer into a box shape. The lenses can now be placed rounded side down into the viewer. After removing the tape liner, fold the flap to secure the lenses in place. To watch the full experience and explore more exclusive virtual reality content, download the LIFE VR app for iOS and Android or visit time.com/life. Now you can open up any Star Wars experience on your LIFE VR app, and place your smartphone into the front of your viewer. Welcome to virtual reality!
