Richard E. Grant got selfies with all your favorite stars at the annual Oscar nominees lunch
No one had a better time at the annual Oscar nominees lunch than Richard E. Grant.
The Can You Ever Forgive Me? actor, who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category at this year’s show, shared his excitement at meeting all his fellow nominees during the Academy Award luncheon on Monday.
Grant, 61, posed for the sweetest selfies with all of the biggest nominees, including Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott from A Star Is Born, as well as Glenn Close, Spike Lee and Rami Malek. And he shared them all on Twitter.
“You’ll understand why I am blurred and enduring ‘Smiling-rictus’ syndrome after meeting all these folk at the Academy Awards Nominees lunch today!!!” Grant tweeted alongside an array of pictures, most of which were a little blurry.
He then posted a third tweet full of selfies with nominees like Amy Adams, Regina King and Viggo Mortensen.
“And some more!!! This is now getting beyond ‘pinch yourself’ – more like ‘punch yourself ’ SwaziGuy!!!! Living the dream,” he wrote in the third tweet, along with eight smiley face emojis.
Grant has been charming fans and fellow actors all awards season with his sincere and sweet posts about how grateful he is to be nominated. Fellow SAG Award nominee Timothée Chalamet was so taken with one of Grant’s tweets that he asked to spend Christmas with him!
Grant previously picked up a Golden Globe nomination for the same role at last month’s ceremony.
The 91st annual Academy Awards air live on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
