Who has spirit? Renée Zellweger!

The star of Bridget Jones’s Baby took it back to her younger years as a teen in Texas when she showed Jimmy Fallon a few of her cheerleading moves from seventh grade on The Tonight Show.

After warming up with a “Be Aggressive” cheer, Zellweger couldn’t help but get out of her seat to show the talk-show host her tryout routine, for which she remembered every word and move used to inspire the Tigers team. However, she had to stick to a less complicated version when Fallon tried to join in.

When it came to teaching Fallon the quintessential element for all cheerleaders, the high kick, Zellweger didn’t hesitate to throw off her heels to properly execute the move.

“If you do a good kick, it doesn’t matter how the cheer goes,” the 47-year-old actress told Fallon.

Zellweger transitioned from one athletic event to another when she, dressed as an oversized robot, took on Fallon, donning an enormous Santa Claus costume, in a heavyweight wrestling contest.

“Santa Claus ain’t coming to town tonight,” Zellweger taunted her opponent before the start of the match.

The trash talking turned out to be true when the actress took down Fallon in two straight rounds.

Bridget Jones’s Baby hits theaters Friday, Sept. 16.
