#IntoTheWoods: Reese Witherspoon Reunites with Wild Collaborators Laura Dern & Cheryl Strayed for Walk in the Wilderness
And a Wild reunion it was!
It hasn’t even been a year since the movie Wild hit theaters, but it looks like Reese Witherspoon is already missing the movie’s team. So, naturally, the star called for a reunion and, luckily for us, took to Instagram to let us see.
The 39-year-old actress Tweeted a photo of herself alongside Laura Dern, who played her on-screen mother Bobbi, and Cheryl Strayed, the hiker-turned author whom Witherspoon portrayed in the film, which was based on Strayed’s eponymous novel about her 1,100-mile hike of self-discovery along the Pacific Crest Trail.
“#IntoTheWoods #WildReunion @LauraDern @CherylStrayed (Guess where???)” the caption accompanying the photo reads.
The pic shows the three walking along a path in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by trees and shrubs.
Witherspoon kept the reunion celebration going, posting two more photos of the trio on their wilderness “escape.”
She recently used her star power, and Southern drawl, to narrate Go Set a Watchman, Harper Lee’s first novel since the classic To Kill a Mockingbird.
