Rebel Wilson is opening up about a terrifying experience.

During an interview with Ant Middleton on his Sky One show Straight Talking, the actress said, "There was one time in Africa where I got kidnapped," via Sky News.

The Pitch Perfect star, 40, told Middleton she was with a group of women in rural Mozambique in East Africa when their group was ordered to get out of their car. The actress did not say when the incident took place.

"These men come on another truck with a lot of guns," Wilson said. When asked by Middleton if the men had pulled up their car alongside the car Wilson was in, she said, "Yeah, with the big guns, and were like, 'You've got to get off your truck.' They took us to this house in the middle of nowhere."

She continued, "I feel like I was very good in the crisis. I was like a team leader."

"They sat us down. I said, 'Everybody link arms,'" she said, adding, "I'm petrified in the night they might want to take one of the girls or something. Luckily, we weren't harmed."

Wilson says she and the others were released the next day.

"They came and said, 'Oh, your truck is ready now you can go- go, go,' you know," she said. "So we just didn't ask any questions, we got back on that truck and just got back out of there and then crossed the South African border a few hours later."

She added, "I think maybe those guys used us to smuggle illegal things in the bottom of the truck."

According to Sky News, Middleton interviewed Wilson in Mexico where the actress has spent vacations with her boyfriend Jacob Busch and her sister, Annachi.

Wilson shared several photos of herself and Busch while they enjoyed their Mexican getaway.

The actress went public with her relationship with Busch in September by sharing a sweet photo of the two boarding a helicopter alongside Helen Mirren and Kate Beckinsale. The couple made their red carpet debut shortly after when they attended the Monte-Carlo Gala For Planetary Health in Monaco.

"This is the first guy she's met who is a match for her humor and personality. Someone who has his own life and success and isn't intimidated by her," a source told PEOPLE last year. "He's entrepreneurial and they're both very business-minded."

"He's a gentleman, has very old school manners and treats her well," the source said. "He is also very health conscious and they've been motivating each other with their health journeys."
