The 22-year-old appeared to be taking after his father when he was spotted doing a few push-up in between takes

Like father, like son.

Patrick Schwarzenegger flashed his muscles on the set of his upcoming film Midnight Sun recently while striking an uncanny resemblance to his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The younger Schwarzenegger was seen wearing a blue sleeveless T-shirt and khaki pants while shooting scenes on a boat in Vancouver on Wednesday. And taking after his muscle-man father, the 22-year-old was even caught getting in a few push-ups between takes.

Compared to the vintage shot of Arnold, this father-son duo could even pass as twins! (He sure looks a lot more like him than Danny DeVito.)

From the looks of it, the young actor has definitely been working hard to keep in shape for his first leading role as Charlie, starring opposite Bella Thorne. While little is known about his character, Schwarzenegger has been giving out small hints as to what fans can expect.

Earlier this week, he Tweeted out a selfie sporting a bare chest, writing “The life of playing a swimmer. Dang chest hair is gone.”

Patrick and Thorne seem to have become fast friends both on and off set. The two have both taken to social media to share behind-the-scenes moments with each other, including a day when they showed up on set looking matchy-matchy.

Midnight Sun follows the story of Katie (Thorne), a 17-year-old forced to stay inside her house during the day due to a rare skin disease that makes sunlight deadly. Her life takes a turn when she embarks on a summer romance with a boy named Charlie.

Midnight Sun will hit theaters in 2016.
