Chloe Kim may not have been at the Oscars on Sunday but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t part of the show.

The 17-year-old Olympic gold medalist got a sweet shoutout during Frances McDormand‘s Best Actress acceptance speech. The 60-year-old actress compared the exhilaration she felt after winning to Kim’s recent historic run at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

“I think this is what Chloe Kim must have felt like after doing back-to-back 1080s in the Olympic halfpipe,” McDormand joked on stage. “Did you see that? Okay, that’s what it feels like.”

The famously avid Twitter user had the best response, addressing McDormand directly.

“I am SHOOK [right now] like what,” Kim said, adding in another tweet: “Hey Frances let’s go snowboarding sometime.”

Kim wowed the world when she easily won gold at the Winter Olympics in South Korea. The snowboarder scored enough points to win in her first round and still came out and got almost a perfect score on her victory run.

McDormand was the frontrunner leading up to the show as she swept the major awards in the months before for her performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The veteran actress picked up the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and BAFTA awards on her way to claim the big prize.
