Oscar Isaac is putting his musical chops to good use, covering one of Bill Murray‘s most famous Saturday Night Live moments.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens star sat down with GQ for a cover shoot for their new issue and delivered a killer rendition of a Saturday Night Live classic.

Murray first performed the song on an SNL skit back in 1978 – a year after the original Star Wars film was released. In the sketch, Murray was playing his ongoing Nick the Lounge Singer character, and sang the tune to the famous John Williams movie score.

Isaac, who showed off his vocals as a folk singer in the Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis, nails the cover on the guitar, and even throws in some improvised lines about the new Star Wars characters.

The Force Awakens hits theaters Friday.
