Jack Skellington, known as the "Pumpkin King" of Halloween Town, was brought to life by actor Chris Sarandon for his speaking voice, and composer Danny Elfman for his singing voice.

Catherine O'Hara as Sally

Catherine O'Hara portrayed Sally, a rag doll creation of Dr. Finkelstein, and Jack's love interest. Sally uses poisons to liberate herself from Finkelstein's captivity and has psychic powers that warn her about bad things to come. O'Hara also starred in Beetlejuice, another Burton film.
