Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Don't Need to Renew Their Vows: 'I Love Him, But I Also Like Him,' Kidman Tells PEOPLE
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman laced their fingers and held hands on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival debut of her film The Family Fang Saturday, the story of a uniquely dysfunctional family that Kidman stars in and produced. Married for nearly a decade, the couple was all smiles, hugging while discussing their bond with PEOPLE. He even picked out her Louis Vuitton dress for the evening.
“She gave me some choices and I liked this one,” Urban told PEOPLE.
“I listen to him,” admitted Kidman.
But despite rumors, Urban said he and his wife will not renew their wedding vows in honor of their tenth anniversary this June.
“I read that, too,” said Urban. “I don’t know where they get half of this stuff from. No.”
“We don’t need to,” added Kidman. “The vows are strong, we keep them.”
“They’re daily in the sense of action, as opposed to being recited,” said Urban. “I like to think of showing those on a daily basis.”

“We do. We fly all over the world [to see one another]. But not out of obligation, just because I like him,” Kidman said with a laugh.
“Out of want,” Urban chimed in. “It’s a short life, too, you know. It really is.”
The two cuddled on the carpet, squeezing each other tight. “I love him, but I also like him,” said Kidman, giggling.
The feeling is mutual. Added her husband with a smile, “Likewise.”
