First there was the studly wolf pack. Then, the ab-tastic Comic-Con sneak peek of Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson shirtless. Now, according to New Moon star Jamie Campbell Bower, the sexy sequel apparently includes a nude scene.

“We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene,” the 20-year-old British actor, who plays Volturi vampire Caius in the upcoming Twilight follow-up, joked to MTV.com.

“Yeah, it’s me, Michael Sheen and Christopher [Heyerdahl]; we just sit there, naked,” he added of his costars, who play Volturi Aro and Marcus, respectively.

“It’s a full-body shot,” he details with a straight face. “They’re bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing.”

But director Chris Weitz insists in a statement that Bower was just joking about the naked vampire scene.

“I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked!” Weitz said. “Jamie has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me – which is why he’s such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always – as in the book! – fully clothed.”

Despite the hi jinx, New Moon will be steaming up movie screens on Nov. 20.
