Megan Fox and Will Arnett are still trying to get hip with the lingo.

The two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars sat down with MTV to play a game of “This or That” – and found themselves not totally confident about what they were choosing between.

The game, in which they had to reveal their preference between two choices, started off strong when Fox said she’d rather have hot sauce than no sauce, but quickly took a confusing turn when Arnett had to choose between “Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake” or “Work, work, work, work, work.”

When Arnett, 46, quickly chose “work,” Fox became suspicious that he might not know what he’s really deciding between.

“Do you know the difference?” she asked him. “I think you would prefer ‘Cake’ if you knew what it was about.”

But Fox, 30, found herself stumped when she didn’t quite know the difference between “Netflix and chill” or “getting lit.”

“I don’t know what either of those things mean,” she said laughing. But after a quick explainer, she decided she’d rather forgo getting “lit” and stick with “Netflix and chill.”

And when it came time to choosing between common hashtags, the two basically threw in the towel.

“Hastag are we for effing real,” Arnett said, explaining that he has a problem with modern-day slang. “I don’t even buy into Starbucks sizing of Venti. I’m still fighting that – like that’s not real, you made that up.”

“Hashtag that,” laughed Arnett.
