Those who donate together, stay together.

AQUAhydrate investors Mark Wahlberg and Sean "Diddy" Combs have pledged to donate one million bottles of water to the people of Flint, Michigan, who have been without clean drinking water since mid-2015.

“The AQUAhydrate team is doing everything it can to help with this issue,” Diddy said in a statement about the issue that has now escalated into a state of emergency after a number of children suffered lead poisoning from drinking water. “Mark and I made an initial pledge to donate and are committed to the continued aid to Flint residents as long as they need it. We hope this commitment will inspire others to get involved as well.”

Eminem, who is a nearby Detroit, Michigan, resident, and rapper Wiz Khalifa have already joined the AQUAhydrate effort, as well as Cher, who donated 180,000 bottles of water on her own just last week.

As of Monday, 5,000 cases of bottled AQUAhydrate water have been shipped out and are expected to arrive in Flint by mid-week. The company, which is working closely with the Red Cross and Homeland Security, has pledged to continue sending water as needed until the crisis is over.
