Luke Perry's Final Film Will Be Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

Luke Perry fans can see the actor on the big screen in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Luke Perry‘s final role will be as memorable as his life.

The star passed away at the age of 52 on Monday after he suffered a “massive stroke.” Perry was hospitalized on Feb. 27 after paramedics were dispatched to his home in Sherman Oaks, California. The actor remained “under observation” for five days but died on Monday, March 4.

While fans of the actor can see Perry’s final episodes of the CW show Riverdale in the coming months, his last film role will be as Scott Lancer in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Perry wrapped filming before his death, according to Entertainment Weekly. As Lancer, he portrays one of the main characters on the Western TV series Lancer, which ran on CBS from 1968 to 1970.

The film also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino and more.

Set in 1969 Los Angeles, DiCaprio, 44, stars as Rick Dalton, the former star of a western TV series, and Pitt, 55, as his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth.

They’re both struggling to survive in a Hollywood they no longer recognize. Although, one person they do recognize is Rick’s next-door neighbor: Sharon Tate, played by Robbie, 28.

This isn’t the first death the production has faced. Burt Reynolds, who was set to star in the film, died in September and was replaced by friend Bruce Dern.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set for release on July 26.
