What injury? It’s October 3rd and Lindsay Lohan is doing just fine.
“One handed selfie,” Lohan wrote, posting an image of herself taken with Snapchat’s flower crown filter. She added several emojis, along with the hashtag, “#whatdayisit” – a reference to the unofficial Mean Girls Day on Monday.
Lohan also took to Twitter to explain how she lost part of her finger.
“To make this very clear,” wrote Lohan, 30. “The bottom part of my finger was ripped off. It was not ‘chopped’ or ‘severed’ off.”
The actress used social media to reveal her injury Sunday morning, explaining in a Snapchat video that she “almost lost” her finger “from the anchor.”
“Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger… I just had surgery to fix it … it hurts so bad,” she said, showing off her bandaged hand.
She explained that she had tried to anchor the boat by herself, but didn’t share exactly where the incident happened.

On Monday, Lohan also posted a screen grab of a text conversation with a friend, which again referenced Mean Girls Day.
In the 2004 teen comedy, Lohan’s character recounts a conversation with her crush during which he asked her what day it was. That day – Oct. 3 – spawned the annual online celebration among fans.
