Lindsay Lohan Finds Domestic Bliss with New Boyfriend: 'She's Too Young to Marry but Seems Really Happy'
"She's made a new life for herself," a source tells PEOPLE
Things are looking up for Lindsay Lohan.
The actress has settled into a calmer life in London – and found love. And now, those close to Lohan, 29, can’t help but notice a change in the star: She looks happier.
“She’s in a really good place,” a source close to Lohan tells PEOPLE. “She’s made a new life for herself.”
Her newfound sense of happiness, in part, can be attributed to her budding romance with Egor Tarabasov. Lohan recently announced on Instagram that after seven months of dating, she was moving in with the Russian business mogul.
“They are moving in together to a bigger place, and they seem to be getting more serious,” says the source. “She’s too young to marry, but she seems really happy.”
Since moving to London in 2012, Lohan has been more at ease, insiders say. According to the source, she’s been keeping a lower profile, spending most of her time at home and with friends.
“She’s not partying as much like she used to,” says the source. “She’s doing really well and she is taking cooking classes with some girlfriends … She has been happy staying out of the public eye. She likes staying in and flying under the radar and staying out of trouble.”
While she does still enjoy going to events and having a night out with her girlfriends, Lohan, the source says, “doesn’t miss her partying days or her party friends.”
And as her life continues to move in a more positive direction, she’s also managed to mend relationships with her family.
“Things are better with her parents,” adds the source. “She talks to her dad once in a while and her mom is helping [her brother] Cody now.”
