Lindsay Lohan and Dina Lohan were twinning in head-to-toe black ensembles while making a rare red carpet appearance on Wednesday
The mother-daughter duo swung by the Daily Mail‘s holiday party, where they were twinning in head-to-toe black ensembles.
Lindsay, 31, showed a bit of skin in a sheer top with beaded leaf patterns. She paired the eye-catching shirt with slim black legging pants, matching boots and a black bomber jacket.
Dina, meanwhile, kept her embellishments on her pants — rocking some slim-fitting bottoms with red and silver embroidery. The 51-year-old mother of four also wore a black leather jacket over a turtleneck.
Both blonde beauties kept their makeup natural-looking.
Chatting with Entertainment Tonight, Lindsay revealed that she was back in town to spend time with her mom and siblings for the holidays. “It’s Christmas, it’s the holiday season,” Lindsay said. “I like the crisp, cold weather, running around with my sister and my brother and seeing my mom and dad and family. It’s a family-oriented season and it’s beautiful.”
While Linsday has been enjoying her time back home, she made it clear doesn’t see herself moving back permanently anytime soon.
“I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life,” she said. “I don’t always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important.”
As far as her love life, Lindsay confessed she’s single. “I’m not in any relationship. I don’t think anyone could be in a relationship with me because I’m never there all the time,” she said, adding that though she wants to have a family of her own, she’s not looking to settle down anytime soon. “I have good friends and good family, and I’m happy with myself. … [I’m] focusing on what I really feel I want to do right now and I think is important to me.”

One of the things that’s important to her is getting a sequel to Mean Girls — the 2004 comedy in which she starred in — up and running.
“Mean Girls 2 the movie—this is the importance,” Lindsay told E! News. We need Rachel McAdams! We need the whole cast back! I’d love to do it again. We had so much fun making it. Mark Waters is such a great director, Tina Fey is an amazing writer, Paramount was great to work with — we all had a blast.”
“I’m here in New York, so Tina Fey better be hiding or I’m going to find her and Lorne Michaels. I know where his desk is,” Lindsay joked.
In the meantime, Lindsay wants to return to the studio to reignite her music career.
“I love writing. The thing is, with me, when I’m acting, I always have headphones on, because that really helps me get the character that I’m about to play. So, [music] has always played a very strong role in my life,” the “Rumors” singer told E! News. “Music can make you feel anything.” She added that she’s hoping to collaborate with artists like Ed Sheeran and Eminem on her music — but “nothing’s set in stone.”
“We’ll see what happens while I’m in New York—what we can get done,” she said.
