Lily-Rose Depp Lands at Venice Film Festival to Promote Planetarium with Natalie Portman
The daughter of Johnny Depp stunned in yellow at the photocall for her new film Planetarium
Lily-Rose Depp has caught the acting bug.
The 17-year-old actress arrived at the film’s photocall in a bright yellow shift dress with white beaded detailing on the neckline, sleeves and skirt.
In the Rebecca Zlotowski drama, Depp plays the sister of Natalie Portman as the duo tours 1930s France as mediums.
Depp also acted in Kevin Smith’s comedy-horror films Tusk and Yoga Hosers, the latter alongside her acting father.
She’s been making her film festival rounds this year, appearing at Cannes to promote her film The Dancer earlier this summer.
Even at such a young age, Depp, who grew up on the set of her father’s movies and backstage at concerts for her mother, French star Vanessa Paradis, is confident she wants to pursue a career in movies.
“For me, it’s simple: I like to act,” she told Vanity Fair this spring. “It frees me. I want to make it my craft.”
Planetarium premiered at the 2016 Venice Film Festival Thursday, and will play later this week at the Toronto International Film Festival.
