Lea Michele is getting busy now that Glee is over.

The actress is about to take on her first starring movie role opposite Kate Upton in The Layover.

“We’ve already started rehearsals and have been having the best time!!!” Tweeted Michele, who is also working on the new Fox series Scream Queens from Glee‘s Ryan Murphy. “This is going to be a fun one!!!”

The road trip sex comedy pairs Michele, 28, and Upton, 22, as best friends who take a vacation only to find their plane rerouted due to a hurricane. They end up battling over the same guy while on an extended layover in St. Louis.

The film is being directed by William H. Macy, who told Deadline, “The minute I met Lea and Kate, the film began to focus for me. They are singular, ambitious funny women in full. This is going to be fun.”

“Never thought I’d be looking forward to a layover! I can’t wait,” Tweeted Upton, who showed off her comedy chops opposite Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in 2014’s The Other Woman.
