A History of Kate Beckinsale's Romances, from Michael Sheen to Pete Davidson
Learn more about her rumored new romance and the actress' romantic history of funny men
The 25-year-old Saturday Night Live star was seen holding hands with Beckinsale leaving the Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood, California, after his stand-up show on Feb. 1. The rumored couple headed to Davidson's hotel in Santa Monica where an onlooker said, "They arrived at the hotel hand-in-hand."
The two were first spotted getting cozy at Netflix's Golden Globes afterparty, where they talked for most of the night. Both deflected dating rumors in the days that followed.
Davidson was last linked to ex-fiancée Ariana Grande.
In November 2018, Beckinsale started dating British actor and comedian Whitehall, 30. The actress was spotted showing some PDA with her new leading man at a karaoke bar in Los Angeles, partying and kissing at a candle-lit booth. Whitehall was last linked to Crazy Rich Asians' Gemma Chan; the two dated for six years until they split in 2017.
Beckinsale and comedian and actor Rife, then 21, started their romance in June 2017. The two were spotted on a date night at Sherman Oaks Galleria in Los Angeles wrapped in each other's arms. Fans speculated about their difference in age, but a source close to Beckinsale said she referred to him as an "old soul" so the age difference didn't matter to her. The couple called it quits after two months of dating.
After 12 years of marriage, director and producer Wiseman, then 42, filed for divorce from Beckinsale in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. The two met in 2003 on the set of Underworld and got married the following year. A source close to the pair said, "They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart."
Shortly after the split, Wiseman was seen out with model CJ Franco, who is 18 years younger than him. He has since moved on.
Beckinsale and actor Sheen met in the mid-'90s, and though they never married, they share an adult daughter, Lily, and have remained close.
Since their 2003 split, when he was 35, the two have spent holidays and birthdays together as a family. "I think the thing is, if you both really put your kid's well-being first and share a sense of humor, you're sort of halfway there," the actress said on Chelsea with Chelsea Handler, regarding co-parenting with Sheen.
Recently, Sheen has been linked to comic Aisling Bea, after dating Sarah Silverman for four years.
