Julianne Moore needs a social media intervention.

“[Twitter] is the one thing I m addicted to,” the Still Alice actress, 54, reveals to Town & Country in their December/January cover story.

The Oscar winner adds: “I follow a lot of comedians and news sites. I never sit quietly anymore.”

In addition comedians like Amy Schumer and Patton Oswalt, Moore uses the platform to keep up with everyone from Miley Cyrus to Nicki Minaj to President Obama.

The actress, whose new film Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 premiers Nov. 20, also dished on her Thanksgiving plans and favorite holiday traditions.

“I like to bake – I always make cornbread at Thanksgiving, which is our favorite holiday to host,” Moore says. “We usually have between 25 and 40 people, our family and friends that we’ve known since the kids were little.”

Christmas, on the other hand, is a more low key affair for Moore, her husband Bart Freundlich and the family. “Just the four of us,” she says. “My son usually has a basketball tournament. But I love being in the city then.”

But that doesn’t mean she isn’t going to be asking for a gift: “I think I’ll tell my family that I want an old loft for Christmas. We have a townhouse in the West Village that we renovated 12 years ago, but I’m ready for something new.”
