Rodriguez/Getty There’s just under 300 days until The Last Jedi hits theaters – plenty of time for actor Josh Gad to crack its star Daisy Ridley. Gad – who is currently filming the Murder on the Orient Express remake with Ridley – has been peppering the British actress with questions about Star Wars: Episode VIII, even enlisting some other famous faces to help out. In his first attempt – recorded and released on social media – Ridley came by Gad’s trailer clad in her robe. “I had an important question to ask you, I’m so sorry, I meant to call you last night and it’s about today’s scene,” Gad asked an unsuspecting Ridley in the clip. “Um, who are the last Jedi?” Ridley, 24, retorted, “We’re not doing this, Josh,” before lamenting, “I can’t ask you about Frozen Two!” On his second try, Ridley returned to Gad’s trailer under the guise that Murder on the Orient Express‘ director Kenneth Branagh had new lines for them to run. But, as they began to read over the hand-scrawled notes, it became clear to Ridley that it was all a trick. Then, Gad brought in the big guns: Dame Judi Dench, who is also starring in Murder on the Orient Express. “Are you the last jedi?” Dench prodded the dumbfounded Ridley. https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fjoshgad%2Fvideos%2F809772445837980%2F&show_text=0&width=560 In the last video, Gad went all out, gathering a full crew to interrogate Ridley. “I have given blood, sweat, and tears to get the to truth for all of you,” wrote Gad on Facebook. “I have thus far been unsuccessful. This will be Daisy’s final judgement. #starwars is all of us Daisy. It’s time to treat us a friends, not enemies.” He continued, “Each of us are a or multiple #lastjedi in our own special way. It’s time to face your fears Daisy and come clean.” This time, Gad brought Ridley to his home, assuring her that he was done with the inquisition. “I have no more questions,” he said, before entering a room of waiting stars. “They do.” One by one, Leslie Odom Jr., Chris Pratt, Colin Trevorrow, Bryce Dallas Howard, Penelope Cruz and Lucy Boynton, among others, asked Ridley – who was off-screen – Star Wars questions. https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fjoshgad%2Fvideos%2F810081495807075%2F&show_text=0&width=400 While many wanted spoilers about Supreme Leader Snoke (namely: is he really that big?), Pratt took the opportunity to tout his own franchise films. “I’m in Guardians of the Galaxy,” he stated on his turn. He added next, “Jurassic World opens June 2018.” The entire bit ended with The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams prodding, “Does Luke finally get to say any lines in episode eight? Please tell me Daisy.” RELATED VIDEO: ‘Star Wars’ Icon, Harrison Ford Warns Daisy Ridley About the Price of Fame Production on Star Wars: The Last Jedi wrapped in July and, still, little is known about the plot of the film.
