In a PEOPLE exclusive clip from the upcoming film Trading Paint, the 65-year-old actor stars as Sam Munroe, a veteran race car driver, who romances Twain’s Becca as they discuss his passion for racing. “Tell me about your hobby,” Becca asks Sam. Confused, he asks her, “Hobby?” “Yeah, racing,” she says. Shaking his head and laughing, Sam explains his drive for racing is deeply rooted and goes beyond that of a hobby. “Hell no. Racing ain’t no hobby. It’s more like a family tradition.” The film follows Sam and his son, Cam, through their falling out. A rival racing giant, Linsky, takes advantage of the rift and offers Cam a lucrative opportunity racing for him. And for country superstar Twain, 53, this marks her acting debut. (She appeared as herself in I Heart Huckabees and an episode of Broad City.) In January she shared the trailer for her first film excitedly on Instagram, saying, “I can’t wait for you all to see this.” Trading Paint is available on Ultra VOD and in theaters and On Demand on March 22.
