John Boyega on What It Was Like to Shoot a 'Star Wars' Scene with Prince William and Harry

Not even the royal family can intimidate John Boyega.

The Star Wars actor sat down for The Hollywood Reporter‘s annual actor roundtable where he admitted that having Prince William and Prince Harry on set didn’t fry his nerves.

“It wasn’t intimidating, it was fun,” Boyega, 25, said. “I thought, like, ‘Of course, it’s Star Wars, they’re going to bring the royal family.’ It felt fun. They were in Stormtrooper costumes.”

The royals filmed cameos back in April of this year alongside Tom Hardy. The three will appear as Stormtroopers in a scene with Boyega in an elevator.

And as the world found out earlier this year, William and Harry are huge Star Wars fans. The two visited production workshops at the studios and met with the creative teams behind the current Star Wars sequel trilogy – along with close-up looks at some of the films’ iconic props, costumes and creatures. (Harry got a hug from the galaxy’s favorite Wookie, Chewbacca, and William made friends with friendly bot BB-8!)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15.
