Guests including Fergie, Josh Duhamel and Eric Stonestreet — a Modern Family costar of Manganiello's wife Sofia Vergara — partied all night. "It was an amazing cross-section of my friends from music, sports, art, entertainment," Manganiello told PEOPLE. "I even had a friend from kindergarten fly in from Pittsburgh."

"I've been friends with Steel Panther for years and they're one of my favorite bands of all time," Manganiello told PEOPLE. "In the back of my mind I always envisioned them playing my 40th birthday party and sure enough they had a break from their touring schedule to do it."
