It: Chapter Two sure sounds like it’ll be just as scary as the 2017 original.

Lucky audience members at CinemaCon in Las Vegas got to see the first footage of the sequel, which picks up 27 years after the events of the first one. Chapter Two finds the adult Losers Club, played by some familiar faces, returning to their hometown to face down the evil Pennywise clown once and for all.

The footage offered the first look at Jessica Chastain as the grown-up Beverly, who was played by Sharp Edges standout Sophia Lillis in the first movie. Audiences seemed to be very on board with the Oscar nominee joining the horror franchise, judging by early reactions.

“.@wbpictures just world premiered the first footage from It: Chapter 2. Extended look opened with @jes_chastain coming home and sitting down with someone that was not who she expected to see. Then a big montage of footage showing both old and new cast. Looked great,” journalist Steven Weintraub tweeted.

Read on for more reactions from the crowd before the first trailer is released wide.
