Stop the presses: Jennifer Lawrence does practice good hygiene, she swears.

Following an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz accompanied by her Hunger Games costars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, in which she jokingly said she doesn’t wash her hands after using the restroom, the actress found herself having to defend her bathroom etiquette while on the press tour for Mockingjay – Part 2.

After growing tired of the questions, Lawrence, 25, took to Facebook on Monday to clear up any confusion surrounding her personal hygiene.

“I hate talking to the Internet but I can’t get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour,” she wrote. “I told MTV I didn’t wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world.”

She continued: “Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can’t believe I’ve put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I’ve ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest.”

Proving that she still knows how to laugh at herself, Lawrence also posted a video of herself using a “weird toilet” to go with her message.

In the video, she is seen going to the sink to wash her hands after using the bathroom, but when an off-camera voice informs her that she just used a bidet, not a toilet, the actress quickly turns off the sink water.

“It’s not a toilet?” she asked. “Oh, well then I don’t have to wash my hands.”
