Jennifer Lawrence is on team Amy Schumer – even when it comes to voting for the Golden Globes.

Lawrence, 25, admitted that when the nominations for the Golden Globes came out, she never considered the possibility of going up against Schumer in the same category.

“That was so amazing because obviously I only pay attention to myself, so I was like oh I got nominated, and then when she texted and said something about the same category I was like – are you, what, like – huh?” she told etalk.

The duo both received nods in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy category: Schumer, 34, for Trainwreck and Lawrence, 25, for Joy.

Lawrence, a Globe veteran with four previous nominations and two wins to her name, told New York’s Z100 radio station she’d rather see Schumer take home the prize. “I genuinely don’t want it – I would love to see her sweet ass up on that stage,” she joked on Monday.

Lawrence also told etalk she’s also rooting for Schumer to win so they can receive positive publicity for their upcoming film. “So obviously I’m pulling for her. Selfishly, it would be good for our movie if she won, so vote for Amy,” Lawrence said.

Speaking of the new film, Lawrence told Z100 the script is officially finished. Asked if Bette Midler will get her wish to play the actress’s mom in the comedy, Lawrence said, “We don’t really have a mom in the script … Maybe we’ll come up with something.”

In addition to voting for her friend to win the Globe, Lawrence is also hoping that she and Schumer can wear “exact same thing” for the special night.

“She’s going to have to wear Dior,” Lawrence said. “I’m just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they’re making for me.”

Once they are inside, Lawrence and Schumer are already figuring out what move they will pull when the cameras inevitably pan over to them as the winner is announced.

“Maybe we can start arm wrestling,” Lawrence suggested to Extra. “Or whoever wins we can Zoolander each other.”

Besides her love for all things Schumer, Lawrence dished to Z100 that she’s a huge Adele fangirl. “Adele is the most universally accepted as the best,” she said. “I was at a restaurant and I was like, ‘These brussels sprouts taste as good as Adele sings!’ ”

As for her own singing, Lawrence admitted she can’t stand hearing her hit song "The Hanging Tree" from The Hunger Games. “I hate it. I’ve never heard it,” she said. “Chris Pratt … was like ‘I’m going to play a song, promise you won’t get mad?’ And I was like, ‘No!’ ”
